Yowza!!
Launched 2009, Calabasa, CA
Twitter: @yowza

Starry eyes aside, Yowza’s creator Greg Grunberg goes above and beyond to prove celebrity and consumer technology do mix… and in fact, they make a terrific concoction. Take a Hollywood actor who finds a co-founder on Twitter, add a simple iPhone app idea and some Biz Dev know-how and voila: you have a company (and a good one)!
